T first dislocated her knee when she was 14 years old while playing volleyball. Ever since then, she continued to chronically dislocate it until the pain was so severe that she had surgery at 21 years old to tighten the ligaments for stability. She hasn’t had full range of motion of her knee since that first dislocation and has had so much pain while bending and squatting. Even with tons of physical therapy, she was never able to fully squat. Her pain and lack of range of motion led her to have to stop playing volleyball because she physically couldn’t do it anymore.
She has now had 8 SoftWave treatments. Following the very first one, she was able to have a significant increase in her range of motion. After her 5th visit, she has been able to squat without any pain at all! She’s also noticed a huge decrease in swelling. She’s now able to go for a run without any pain and she’s currently training for a half marathon!
