About Wekiwa Springs State Park
With the Fall season here and Winter just around the corner, it’s time to get in your last summer experience at Wekiwa Springs State Park. This is one of our favorite parks here at Revival. This place is a different experience than most parks and full of fun! The best thing about this park it that it is open all year long! Yes, all 365 days out of the year! So if you’re feeling the need to do something different for a holiday or just get some family time in, this is the place to be!
They have a variety of things to do! From swimming in the crystal clear 72 degree water, snorkeling, paddling, biking, hiking, and so much more! There is plenty to do to keep the family entertained! You can even fish and go canoeing. Another awesome perk of visiting Wekiwa Springs is the bird sightings! A large number of birds live in the sandhills and waterways. So if you have a love for birds this is your place to be!
Why we love Wekiwa Springs State Park
Let’s get into why we really love this park! Besides all of the things mentioned above, the best part is their camping site! They have 60 spacious campsite spaces. Each site has water and electrical hook ups, a fire ring with a grill and a picnic table. Some sites even have sewer hook-ups and a dump station is also located there to use. This is such a fun opportunity to take with friends or family. You do have to reserve a spot ahead of time and you can head over to their website to check out all the additional things they have listed plus any fees you may have to pay to get in or stay overnight!
